Take a look at this story from The Local published a few days ago – “Coffee roaster sells false teeth along with beans.” Now, we love coffee as much as the next person, but combining a coffee shop and a dental office… that’s just nuts!
According to the article, The Tchibo coffee chain in Germany is now selling crowns on it’s menu. This move isn’t totally out of the norm for the coffee chain, which is known for selling odd things like pajamas and household appliances in their shops, but we still think it’s a weird, and dangerous, move.
“It belongs to our concept which is to regularly offer our customers something surprising,” the firm said in a statement. “This time we decided for false teeth,” the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported on Tuesday to The Local.
