This week, Newsweek magazine announced that at the end of this year, they will end their print edition and instead focus their efforts to online journalism. While a lot of people are speculating on the journalism industry as a whole and how this shift will affect the rest of the industry, we’re left wondering – what will patients read in the waiting room?

Magazines and newspapers in doctor and dentist waiting rooms are a staple. They help patients pass the time, take their minds off of any upcoming procedures, and relax before entering the doctor or dentist’s office. Newsweek has always been a staple in waiting room, as are many other top magazines and Newspapers. So, what will patients do in the waiting room if magazines turn completely digital?
